Workcube ERP for information technology companies
Version 1.0 — Last updated:
What should ERP solve for an IT company? Revenue comes from projects, billable hours and subscriptions, and most of the cost is people. ERP has to keep projects, time, CRM, HR and finance in one record. In this sector Gramoni implements and configures Workcube ERP, builds custom modules where needed, and brings banking into Workcube with Wodiba.
For a Turkey-based IT or software company, the product is often people's time. Revenue comes from project fees, billable hours, licences and annual subscriptions, and most of the cost is staff. So the typical ERP problems in this sector are not about stock or production. They show up in four places:
- Project profitability. When the quote, contract, hours spent and invoice live in different tools, nobody knows whether a project made money until someone works it out by hand.
- Time tracking. If hours are billed and timesheets are incomplete, the invoice is incomplete too.
- Recurring revenue. Subscriptions, maintenance and support contracts need a renewal and billing calendar that someone owns.
- Sales and HR. Opportunities, quotes and contracts sit in CRM; teams, leave and payroll cost sit in HR. Until both connect to finance, the picture has gaps.
The sector at a glance
EU data shows the information and communication sector is the heaviest user of business software. According to Eurostat, in 2025 61.28% of EU enterprises in information and communication used ERP software and 63.14% used CRM, the highest share of any sector on both counts. Across all EU enterprises the ERP figure was 46.45%.
The gap is just as wide for AI. Eurostat reports that 62.52% of EU information and communication enterprises used at least one AI technology in 2025, against 20.0% of all enterprises (enterprises with 10 or more employees).

For companies in this sector the question is rarely "should we run ERP?" It is "are projects, time, sales and finance in one record?"
What Gramoni offers in this sector
Gramoni works with companies in the information technology sector. The services and products that fit are:
- Workcube ERP consulting and implementation. Workcube, a Turkish ERP platform, is implemented with its eight-phase methodology, from Selection to Sustainment, with a written output at each phase. Module scope includes finance and accounting, CRM, HR, and sales and distribution.
- Workcube custom development. Where standard screens fall short, customer-specific code is packaged as a separate module; Workcube's standard code stays untouched.
- Wodiba. For companies working with several banks, Wodiba brings banking work into Workcube: transactions arrive several times a day, records and accounting vouchers are created for 18 transaction types, and the counterparty is found by tax ID number (VKN), IBAN or a description rule.
- AI and automation. Applications that run on your own data and processes, with results going through human approval: agents that write records after approval, a decision log from meeting recordings, a searchable knowledge base. Workcube is not required.
What it does not cover
The manufacturing and warehouse products (MES for Workcube, WorkPlanner for Workcube, WAMS Logistics) are for companies that produce by work order or run a warehouse. A typical software and services company does not need them. Gramoni does not publish customer names, project counts or result figures on this page.
Frequently asked questions
Why does an IT services company need ERP at all?
Revenue comes from projects, billable hours and subscriptions, and most of the cost is staff. When quotes, contracts, timesheets, HR and accounting sit in separate tools, project profitability is worked out late and by hand. ERP puts those records in one place.
Which Workcube modules matter in this sector?
Gramoni's Workcube implementations cover finance and accounting, CRM, HR, sales and distribution, and materials and production. An IT company usually leans on finance, CRM, HR and sales. Which modules go live is decided in writing during the Planning phase.
What if the standard Workcube screens are not enough?
Gramoni packages customer-specific code as a separate module and never modifies Workcube's standard code, so a Workcube update does not break the custom work.
We bank with several Turkish banks. How do transactions reach Workcube?
Wodiba brings bank transactions into Workcube several times a day and creates the record and accounting voucher for 18 transaction types. A transaction it cannot match is not guessed; it is listed with the reason. Bank passwords are not stored in Workcube.
Do we need Workcube for an AI project?
No. Gramoni's AI and automation work does not require Workcube. Applications run on your own data and processes, and every result goes through human approval. We do not train models on your data.
